Montpellier is one of the fastest growing cities in France. Port Marianne is an ongoing development that confirms the city’s love story for bold new architecture. When Architecture Studio started the project, a “miroir d’eau” was an obvious response for Stephane Hessel Square. During the day, arching jets move up and down smoothly. At nighttime, water reflects the changing colors of the bubble-like façade of the nearby Cloud building.
