Water is one of the main design elements of this new 23-hectare city park designed by Kathryn Gustafson: Pools, jets, and channels welcome visitors to the park and encourage interaction and play. Water is both a structural and restorative element organizing the park's design. The park is considered one of the city’s most significant urban redevelopments undertaken in the 21st century.
