Alba Thermal Springs & Spa is a new world class luxury wellness sanctuary located in the heart of Victoria’s Mornington Peninsula.
JML has collaborated with MALA Studio for the conceptual and technical development of a large watercourse within the landscape. From the tides at Cape Schanck to the calm waters of Port Phillip Bay, the water feature draw inspiration from the iconic landscape typologies of the Mornington Peninsula whilst not trying to replicate it. The water feature intends to capture the multiple moods of the presence of water along the coastline and the thermal springs below ground, through program, colors, speeds and textures.
